New moon new start.
The beginning of this month has had me feeling very deeply about certain issues and roadblocks in my life. I have found myself in deep emotional thoughts and bringing up old feelings I haven't felt in a while. It made me realize what things I needed to work on within myself in order to move forward.
At the moment it feels as if the energy is at a stand still waiting for a sudden push to bring us back onto our path again. This new moon in Scorpio brings many different types of energy into play. Firstly Scorpio is a deeply emotional sign, being a water sign, but it is also so strong as it has a touch of fire to it because it is traditionally ruled by Mars.
Scorpio is a very primal sign and being in the new moon it is opening up a lot about how we are feeling inside. Emotions are unearthed that we thought were well hidden and new passions/endeavors may form because of this. At this New Moon, Scorpio’s traditional ruler Mars will be at the tail end of Virgo conjunct the North Node, and both will be switching signs. We may find ourselves trying to finish things up and tying up loose ends in our work, duties, and relationships.
The North Node is one of the Nodal Axis points of the moon, these axis's form a yin and yang effect. The North Node being the aspect of ourselves in which we must work on in order to grow and move on wards in our lives. In the sense of physically and spiritually. If we rely on the South Node too much, this is the side of our skills and abilities that are already well developed we run the risk of not potentially developing ourselves to our full potential.
I know in myself I am feeling at a stand still, as though I am really thinking about what matters to me and what does not. With the new year approaching I am so thankful with the lessons I have learnt along the way. They have been hard but they have been so worth it. I am looking forward to see where this deeply emotional push and reflecting of the new moon is taking me. I hope you all take this time to set some new manifestations for the upcoming moon cycle.
